The details

A three-piece lehenga with a canvas-built skirt, embroidered choli and a soft net dupatta with a tasselled edge. Cut for wedding season — the canvas holds the flare without a heavy petticoat, which matters when a nine-year-old has to sit through a three-hour muhurtham.

Skirt: Art silk on canvas base, 4 layers
Choli: Raw silk with thread embroidery
